Hero Artifacts

Hero artifacts boost hero stats. There are three artifact types.

Artifact Weapon Artifact Book Artifact Ring

Each hero has a unique Artifact Weapon. When a hero uses their first skill, Artifact Weapon grants a bonus to the whole team for nine seconds. This bonus also immediately applies to the skill that activated it.

Note: Celeste is the exception, and her Artifact Weapon works only for 4.5 seconds.

Artifact Weapon bonus has an activation chance depending on its evolution:

1. 1st star — 30% activation chance.
2. 2nd star — 60% activation chance.
3. 3rd star and more — 100% activation chance.

The bonus timer and its icon are in the upper-left corner of the game screen. Hover your mouse cursor over the icon to see the bonus's name and stats.

Artifact Book grants a bonus to two secondary stats. There are seven book types:

	Warrior's Code boosts critical hit chance and physical attack.
	Manuscript of the Void boosts magic penetration and magic attack.
	Tome of Arcane Knowledge boosts magic attack and health.
	Defender's Covenant boosts armor and magic defense.
	Alchemist's Folio boosts armor penetration and physical attack.
	Book of Illusions boosts dodge and health.

Artifact Ring grants a bonus to a hero's primary stat: strength, agility, or intelligence. There are three ring types:

	Ring of Strength.
	Ring of Agility.
	Ring of Intelligence.

The maximum artifact level is 130. To level up an artifact, you need:

1. Artifact Essence for Artifact Weapons.
2. Artifact Scrolls for Artifact Books.
3. Artifact Metal for Artifact Rings. 

Each of these resources falls into five types depending on its level:

1. Levels 0–25 — Regular gray.

2. Levels 26–50 — Uncommon green.

3. Levels 51–70 — Rare blue.

4. Levels 71–85 — Superior purple.

5. Levels 86–100 — Flawless orange.

6. Levels 101–130 — Absolute red.

The maximum artifact evolution is six. To upgrade it, you need Chaos Cores and artifact fragments, which you can find in expeditions and Artifact Chests. Besides, artifact fragments are available at the Artifact Merchant in the Airship. As for Chaos Cores, you can also find them at the Elemental Tournament Shop.
