Ascension Skills

Ascension permanently grants bonus stats in every game mode. In addition, Ascension ranks II and V unlock Ascension skills.

Artemis

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Smart ArrowArtemis shoots an arrow at the nearest rival. It deals damage and bounces to random nearby opponents several times.
  • Healing Smart Arrow — Upgrade: Smart Arrow bounces 2 more times, then returns to Artemis and heals her by 33% of the damage dealt.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Deadly ShowerArtemis launches a rain of 10 arrows. Each arrow deals damage, which depends on Artemis's physical attack.
  • Resurgent Deadly Shower — Upgrade: With each new use of Deadly Shower (starting with the 2nd), Artemis shoots 7 more arrows. Each extra arrow deals damage according to the formula: 10% Artemis's physical attack + 1300.

Aurora

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Rainbow Halo — The shield partially absorbs magic damage. Once the shield has absorbed a certain amount of damage (10% of Aurora's health), it explodes and deals the absorbed damage to nearby opponents.
  • Perfect Rainbow Halo — Upgrade: The Rainbow Halo shield also absorbs 25% of the damage Aurora has dodged. Thus, the shield will charge quicker and damage rivals more often.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Crystal of Selias — A flash of light hits the center of the opponent team and damages all rivals nearby.
  • Resonant Crystal of Selias — Upgrade: The flash of light also leaves a Resonant Crystal on the battlefield. The Crystal lasts three seconds and explodes every time the Rainbow Halo shield explodes.

Cleaver

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Putrefaction — Deals pure damage to the nearest opponents and himself for 5 seconds.
  • Toxic Putrefaction — Upgrade: The hero pulled by Rusty Hook takes 200% more damage from Putrefaction for 20 seconds.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Rusty HookCleaver throws a hook at a distant opponent, deals them damage, and pulls them to himself.
  • Massive Rusty Hook — Upgrade: The hero pulled by Rusty Hook pushes away their allies and deals them pure damage according to the formula: 30% Cleaver's physical attack + 1500.

Dark Star

Ascension Rank: II.

  • ControlDark Star forces the nearest target to fight on her side for 4 seconds. The trigger chance depends on the target's level.
  • Tormenting Control — Upgrade: The Controlled rival goes Berserk. While the effect lasts, the opponent loses health once per second using the formula: 15% Dark Star's physical attack + 2500. They also have their speed boosted by 100% and their physical attack increased according to the formula: 20% Dark Star's physical attack + 1000.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Black ArrowsDark Star shoots 2 arrows at distant targets, damaging and stunning them for 3 seconds. The stun chance depends on the target's level.
  • Possessed Black Arrows — Upgrade: If Dark Star has a Controlled target when using Black Arrows, she releases an extra arrow and prolongs the Control duration by 10 seconds.

Galahad

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Unstoppable ChargeGalahad dashes forward, removing control effects and damaging opponents nearby.
  • Relentless Charge — Upgrade: The skill activates when the closest rival uses their first skill. The Charge bypasses the ability queue but no more than once per 7 seconds. The closest opponent hit with the Charge also loses 30% of energy.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Iron SkiesGalahad brings down swords of justice on the opponents' heads.
  • Iron Retribution — Upgrade: When Galahad uses Iron Skies, he also casts the Retaliation skill on opponents with less than 30% of health. No more than five rivals can be targeted each time.

Heidi

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Spy Camo — If Heidi isn't damaged for 2 seconds, he gets camouflage that gradually increases his chance of dodging a rival's attack. Each time Heidi dodges damage, he gains bonus energy he would have gained from taking the damage. Heidi can't dodge control effects. He also becomes fully visible after being damaged.
  • Deadly Spy Camo — Upgrade: While camouflaged, Heidi deals extra skill damage. It gradually increases from 5% to 20%.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • DeathflowerHeidi summons a deadly flower at the center of the rival team. It spreads toxic spores and poisons all opponents in the area of effect.
  • Suffocating Deathflower — Upgrade: The Deathflower deals 10% more poison damage every 0.5 seconds to the affected targets.

Ishmael

Ascension Rank: II.

  • PhantomIshmael dodges physical attacks for 6 seconds and gains bonus energy for each dodge.
  • Elusive Phantom — Upgrade: When the Phantom skill is active, Ishmael dodges both physical and magic attacks.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • AwakeningIshmael assumes a demonic form that increases his critical hit chance and attack speed. He starts to gradually lose energy, and when it reaches 0, he loses the demonic form.
  • Brutal Awakening — Upgrade: When Ishmael is in his demonic form, his critical hits deal x4 damage instead of x2.

Judge

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Force FieldJudge casts a shield on an ally closest to opponents. The shield absorbs any damage the ally takes.
  • Overcharged Force Field — Upgrade: Upon destruction, the Force Field produces an electric surge that stuns nearby opponents for 0.5 seconds.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Ion CycloneJudge unleashes a storm of lightning that shocks each opponent with electricity 4 times, dealing magic damage.
  • Resonating Ion Cyclone — Upgrade: Upon ending, the Ion Cyclone conjures an electric jolt that chains between opponents 2 times, dealing magic damage and stunning the affected rivals for 1 second.

Kai

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Explosive SphereKai throws a fire sphere at the nearest rivals. The sphere deals damage for 3 seconds and then explodes, damaging nearby opponents.
  • Lesser Explosive Sphere — Upgrade: After an Explosive Sphere detonates, a Lesser Explosive Sphere attaches to the rival and deals damage for 8 seconds using this formula: 15% Kai's magic attack + 1500, and also deals damage on explosion using this formula: 15% Kai's magic attack + 7000.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Fetters of the WindKai launches forward a whirlwind that throws each target into the air and deals damage. The trigger chance depends on the target's level.
  • Detonating Fetters of the Wind — Upgrade: The whirlwind launched with Fetters of the Wind multiplies the damage area and damage of all Explosive Spheres by 2 and activates them.

Keira

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Enraged SoulKeira's speed increases for 5 seconds.
  • Undying Enraged Soul — Upgrade: Keira revives once a battle with 15% of her max health and turns into an Undead until the end of a fight.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Blade WhirlwindKeira throws returning Blades at the furthest rival. The blades deal damage as they fly and silence opponents for 4 seconds on their way back.
  • Raging Blade Whirlwind — Upgrade: Once the Blade Whirlwind returns, Keira gets the Enraged Soul buff for 2 seconds.

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Critical ThinkingLara Croft focuses for 6 seconds and increases her critical hit chance and critical hit damage.
  • Absolute Critical Thinking — Upgrade: While the ability is active, Lara Croft will always land critical hits on stunned rivals.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Power of the TombsLara Croft activates an ancient relic. All rivals receive damage, while allies under the relic's effect have their health restored. Passive effect: Lara Croft's basic attacks fire 2 powered-up shots.
  • Power of the Sacred Tombs — Upgrade: If Lara Croft's basic attack lands a critical hit on a target, the next basic attack will fire 4 shots.

Lilith

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Possession — While Lilith has at least 25% of her health, she sacrifices 5% of her max health before using each skill and increases her magic attack by the amount of health sacrificed for 5 seconds.
  • Mass Possession — Upgrade: When Possession is triggered, rivals weakened by Fire Breath also take pure damage equal to 1% of their max health (the damage can't be more than 5% of Lilith's magic attack + 5000). Lilith's magic attack also increases by the amount of damage taken.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Underworld SealLilith casts an Underworld Seal on the central rival and detonates it, damaging the target and nearby opponents. Lilith increases her max and current health by 3% for each hero damaged.
  • Stunning Underworld Seal — Upgrade: The rival that takes the least damage from the Underworld Seal is additionally stunned for 5 seconds.

Nebula

Ascension Rank: II.

  • SerenityNebula restores the health of two nearby allies and removes negative effects from them. Nebula can cast the skill on herself if only one ally is in battle.
  • Absolute Serenity — Upgrade: If an ally gains a negative effect within 4 seconds after Serenity is used, Nebula will remove it and heal the ally.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Astral ProjectionNebula launches a slowly flying projectile. You can activate it manually, or it activates when it reaches the furthest opponent. On activation, the projectile deals damage and makes opponents lose energy in the area of effect. The total amount of damage and energy lost is split evenly between the affected rivals.
  • Astral Balance Projection — Upgrade: Right after Nebula uses Astral Projection, two allies get Equilibrium, which boosts their physical and magic attack for 5 seconds.

Orion

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Antimatter BlastOrion fires a magic missile at the nearest opponent, stunning them for 4 seconds and dealing magic damage. The stun chance depends on the rival's level.
  • Antimatter Chain — Upgrade: Upon impact, the antimatter missile bounces toward the two nearest rivals, stunning them for 1 second and dealing magic damage according to the formula: 40% Orion's magic attack + 3900.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Total DestructionOrion fires 6 magic missiles at the opponents with the highest health.
  • Tactical Destruction — Upgrade: Whenever an opponent is stunned or slowed, they receive a mark. When using Total Destruction, Orion launches an additional missile at the marked targets, dealing magic damage according to this formula: 30% Orion's magic attack + 4800.

Peppy

Ascension Rank: II.

  • BoldnessPeppy casts a shield sphere on an ally for 5 seconds. Whenever a shielded ally is attacked, the sphere damages the nearest rivals.
  • Spirit of Boldness — Upgrade: An ally affected by Boldness takes 25% less magic and physical damage and 50% less damage from critical hits.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • MasqueradePeppy attacks rivals in front of herself and either deals magic damage or applies a control effect (stun, blind, or slow) for 6 seconds.
  • Reckless Masquerade — Upgrade: When Peppy uses Masquerade, an opponent always takes magic damage according to the formula: 8% of Peppy's magic attack + 1500. If they evade Masquerade, the skill is recast on them, but no more than 3 times.

Qing Mao

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Open HeartQing Mao reduces the target's armor with every attack. The effect lasts until the end of the battle or the target's death.
  • Relentless Open Heart — Upgrade: Open Heart additionally decreases the target's max health by 100% of the damage dealt with the basic attack. Qing Mao can't reduce the target's max health by over 40%.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Qing LongQing Mao summons a dragon spirit that hits the nearest rivals three times, burning them for 5 seconds, pushing them back, and damaging them.
  • Wrath of Qing Long — Upgrade: When Qing Mao activates Qing Long, the dragon spirit deals one extra hit (max 5) to its targets for each blinded rival on the battlefield. Damage per extra hit is calculated using this formula: 20% Qing Mao's phys. attack + 3000, — and flame damage: 10% Qing Mao's phys. attack + 1200.

Ascension Rank: II.

  • Donnie's Tactics is a passive skill. Every 12 seconds, a new Ninja Turtle (among those whose skills are unlocked) appears on the battlefield and performs their Signature Move. The Turtle fights for 20 seconds before leaving the battle.
  • Donnie's Smoke Bomb — Upgrade: When a Ninja Turtle leaves the battlefield, nearby opponents are blinded for 3 seconds.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Mikey's Signature Move: Mikey leaps behind the farthest opponent and, with a pizza, rides his skateboard toward his allies. Along the way, he crashes into the central opponent, dealing physical damage to the rival heroes in the area and stunning them for 1 second. He also scatters pizza slices, healing allies. Afterward, he jumps back to the front line of his team.
  • Mikey's Secret Ingredient — Upgrade: Allies healed by Mikey's Pizza gain 30% vampirism for 4 seconds.

Thea

  • Healing BeamThea heals an ally with the lowest health.
  • Radiant Healing Beam — Upgrade: After Thea uses Healing Beam, the affected ally takes 50% less damage for 5 seconds.

Ascension Rank: V.

  • Solar SanctuaryThea heals all allies.
  • Blessed Solar Sanctuary — Upgrade: After casting Solar Sanctuary, Thea transforms all healing that exceeds the ally's max health into a shield. The shield absorbs all damage.
