Gameplay FAQ

This article provides answers to frequently asked questions about gameplay.

What's the Best Team/Hero?

All characters in the game are unique. Each battle requires a specific strategy and team composition, and no single team can defeat them all.

Try experimenting with different characters depending on your opponent. Well-chosen heroes may sometimes defeat opponents even when outnumbered. Need more tips? Check out our Combat section!

Why Can't I See My Hero in the Gift of Dominion List?

If the hero you want to upgrade does not appear in the promotion list, it means that their current level is not high enough to equip all the necessary gear items. You need to level up the hero. After that, you will be able to use the Gift of Dominion to promote them.

To check the required level, click Heroes in the main menu and select a hero. You will see the item list on the right side of the window. The items to the right usually need a higher hero level.

Why Didn't I Get the Arena / Grand Arena Reward at 08:00 PM?

To receive the daily reward for your Arena ranking, you need to attack at least once in Arena or Grand Arena before 8:00 PM your in-game time zone. You can check the time zone by clicking your avatar in the upper-left corner. Note that successful defenses are not taken into account when issuing the reward.

Why Don't I Get Arena / Grand Arena Coins for a Successful Defense?

You receive 10 Arena Coins only for the first five successful defenses, up to 50 Coins per day. All further defenses are not rewarded. The Coins arrive in a letter in your in-game mailbox. The same rule works for Grand Arena. Thus, each day you can receive up to 50 Arena Coins and 50 Grand Arena Coins for successful defenses.

How Was I Attacked From a Far-away Position in the Arena / Grand Arena?

There are two matchmaking ranges in the Arena and Grand Arena: visible and hidden.

  • The visible range includes player positions you can see in the list of suggested opponents.

  • The hidden range is wider than the visible range. It ensures that opponents do not disappear while you are choosing an opponent or heroes to attack. Without this range, you would have to constantly look for a new opponent because positions in Arena and Grand Arena are dynamic and change quickly.

Note: The hidden range allows you to attack an opponent even if they have changed their position while you were selecting your heroes. However, if the new position is outside both the visible and hidden range, you will have to look for a different opponent.

How Do x2 Rewards Work in the Dungeon?

You get a double reward for clearing a Dungeon level for the first time: 50 Titan Potions and 2 titanite for a hero level and 2 Soul Stones and 10 titanite for a titan level. The displayed reward is already doubled:

If you clear the level again, the reward is 25 Titan Potions and 1 titanite for a hero level and 1 Soul Stone and 5 titanite for a titan level.

Why Haven't My Titans Resurrected in the Dungeon?

Titans resurrect with the Dungeon reset at the beginning of a game day, at 5:00 AM in your in-game time zone. If your titans are still dead, it means that you have already either explored the Dungeon today or recently changed the time zone. You will be able to proceed the next day.

Note: If you use Divination Cards to complete Dungeon battles instantly, your titans still take damage as in the standard manual walkthrough.

Why are Some In-game Items Missing?

Our system ensures that every in-game action is processed and validated by the game server. It guarantees that items do not disappear on their own and cannot be lost. If an item is nowhere to be found, it means that it was either used, exchanged, or was never there in the first place.

Lost Golden Threads is a common example. As each attempt to upgrade to the Ultimate level requires Golden Threads, even if the pattern upgrade is not successful, your Golden Threads will still be used. Learn more about War Flags, patterns, and Golden Threads here.

Why Did a Recently Created Equipment Item Disappear?

Items in the game never disappear on their own: every single in-game action is processed and validated by the game servers. If a piece of equipment is missing, there are three possible scenarios:

  1. An item might have been equipped by another hero. Items are not unique and can be used for various heroes.
  2. An item might have been sold for gold or exchanged for activity points in a Guild.
  3. An item was used to create another item. As all higher-tier items are crafted out of lower-tier gear, crafting can become quite complex on higher levels. Learn more about complex items and how they work here.

Why Did Letters Disappear From My Mailbox?

Letters are stored in your in-game mailbox for a limited amount of time, usually for three days. Afterward, any items they contain are permanently deleted. The expiration date is displayed at the bottom of the letter.

Make sure to claim rewards as soon as they arrive in your mailbox. Our Support team cannot restore expired letters and rewards.

Why Does My Guild Have no Guild War on Saturday?

The standard Guild War Season starts on Monday and ends on Friday. On Saturday, only transitional matches take place. In these matches, top Guilds from every league except for Gold fight against bottom Guilds from the higher leagues to promote to a higher league.

There are two reasons why you might have no transition match:

  • Your Guild ranked in the middle of your league this week.
  • You ranked in the top/bottom, but the opposing Guild was disbanded. In this case, your Guild will move to a higher league automatically.
