The Power stat is a rough estimate of how upgraded your character is, i.e., how many resources you have invested in that character. It does not represent the character's efficiency or determine the outcome of the battle, as it does not take into account skill interaction, potential synergies, and random effects.
Hero Power
You can find the current power of a hero in the bottom-right corner of the hero window:
You can also view your Total Hero Power. To do it, press the Heroes button:
At the top of the hero list, you can view Total Hero Power, which is the current overall power of all your heroes.
Your overall hero power decreases when you reset Gift of the Elements. As a result, you can see two different values:
The first number (Total Hero Power) shows the current overall power of all your heroes. The second one (Max.) represents the highest total power your heroes have ever reached on this game profile.
Note: You earn points in the Hero Tournament of Power only when you exceed the highest power ever recorded on your profile. To make your current power match your all-time highest power, you can restore the previously reset Gift of the Elements or upgrade other features of your heroes. Once your current power matches the all-time highest value and only Total Hero Power is displayed, you will begin earning points again by upgrading your heroes.
Titan Power
You can find the current power of a titan in the bottom-left corner of the titan window:
You can also view your Total Titan Power at the top of the titan list:
If you later get a skill with the previous power value again, it will only restore the current Titan Power number to its previous state, but not raise the Total Titan Power.
Combat Tip
As Hero/Titan Power only shows how upgraded a character is, you need to remember the following when it comes to battle:
- A more powerful opponent is not always stronger than you. The key to defeating them is mindfully gathering a counter-team that can exploit rival weaknesses. You can find out why weaker teams can win here.
- The reverse situation can also happen. For example, the rival team's overall power might be low, but the combination of two or three characters is synergetic enough to be quite challenging.
To sum up, you should not rely only on the Power attribute when you gather your teams. Hero Wars: Dominion Era battles are more about your strategy, not about just upgrades and the amount of Power. So your team composition and how effectively you counter your opponent's lineup are more vital. You can learn more about how to build an effective team in this article.
