Some heroes have unique skill animations. You can turn them on/off in the pause menu anytime during combat:
You can also turn animations on/off in the game settings. To do it, press the gear button in the bottom-right corner of the game screen to access settings:
In the Settings, go to the Gameplay section, scroll down a bit, and switch on/off Ultimate Skill Video:
