Note: The information in this article is preliminary. The event content may be subject to change.

Hero Tournament of Power is a special event that becomes available at team level 20. During the event, you need to upgrade your heroes; each upgrade earns you tournament points. The more tournament points you earn, the more valuable rewards you will receive.

Basics

You can find the tournament entrance on the main screen:

During the tournament, players are divided into groups according to their team level and game activity. So, your group will have players with levels and activity measures similar to yours. Then, you will compete with these players to see who will get the most points.

Note: If you change the server, all accumulated tournament points will be reset.

Like any other event, Hero Tournament of Power also has quest chains. Complete these chains to gain tournament points and resources for upgrading heroes. Click Event on the left side of the tournament screen to see the list of quests and available rewards:

Alternatively, you can open the event quests through the Special Events tab:

At Offers, you can purchase various resources for upgrading heroes.

How Tournament Points Are Counted

You earn points when you exceed the highest power ever recorded on your profile. You can do this by improving any aspect of your heroes: level, artifacts, Glyphs, Skins, Gift of the Elements, rank, etc. Keep in mind that only hero upgrades count; upgrades to titans or pets do not.

Upgrades are counted: 1 point of power = 1 tournament point.

When you reset Gift of the Elements, your overall hero power decreases, and you can see two values in the hero list:

The first number (Total Hero Power) shows the current overall power of all your heroes. The second one (Max.) represents the highest total power your heroes have ever reached on this game profile.

To make them match, you can restore the previously reset Gift of the Elements or upgrade other features of your heroes. Once your current power matches the all-time highest, you will start earning points by upgrading your heroes.

Tournament Rewards

The game configures the tasks and rewards for each group separately, depending on the group's team level. There are two types of tournament rewards: stage rewards and final rewards.

You can get stage rewards daily for gaining tournament points and thus reaching specific thresholds in the progress bar:

Note: The stage progress bar refreshes daily at 2:00 AM UTC. Thus, you need to fill the bar from scratch the next day. After refreshing, all unlocked but unclaimed prizes are automatically sent to your in-game mailbox. Letters expire in 3 days, so do not forget to collect the rewards.

To open the leaderboard and see the final rewards, click Leaderboard:

After the active phase of the tournament ends, the results will be counted. This process might take some time.

Note: If players have the same number of points by the end of the tournament, the player who reached this number earlier takes a higher ranking position.

When the results are ready, players may collect the final reward in the tournament window.

Note: If you do not collect the final reward, it will be sent to your in-game mailbox after the results menu closes. Letters expire in 3 days, so do not forget to collect the rewards.

Tournament FAQ

Why don’t I have the Tournament of Power while others do?

To join the Tournament of Power, you need to be placed in a group with players who have similar progress. If there aren’t enough players like that at the moment, the event won’t appear for you. However, if enough active players with similar progress join the game during the Tournament, your account will be added to a group, and the Tournament will start for you.

Why hasn't my ranking changed even though I increased my heroes' power?

To earn tournament points, you need to exceed the highest power ever recorded on your profile. When you reset the Gift of the Elements, your total hero power decreases, so you need to first restore it to the previously recorded maximum. Once your current power matches that maximum, you will begin earning points again by upgrading your heroes. Learn more about the hero power in this article.

If I forget to claim tournament points for completed quests, will they still be counted in the ranking?

No, unclaimed tournament points will not be included in the ranking. Make sure to collect them before the Tournament ends.

How could another player score more points than what's available for completing the quests?

There are two ways to earn tournament points:

  • by completing the event quest;
  • by improving any aspects of your heroes: level, artifacts, Glyphs, skins, Gift of the Elements, rank, etc.

Why couldn't I add tournament points to the rankings in the final minutes of the Tournament?

Since many players tend to enhance their characters right at the end of the event, there might be a strain on the network. So, to avoid issues, try to upgrade your characters earlier in the event.

Why did I lose at the end of the Tournament even though I had a higher rank?

The Tournament of Power is a highly competitive event where player rankings shift dynamically based on tournament points. In the final minutes, activity intensifies as many players earn points in pursuit of top positions. As a result, rankings can change dramatically, as others move up by scoring just before the event ends.

What happens to my ranking if I switch servers?

If you change the server, all accumulated tournament points will be reset.

What happens to my ranking reward if I don't collect it and switch servers?

The reward will be lost as your ranking resets when you switch servers. Please make sure to claim your reward in advance.

What if several players have the same number of points?

In the case of a tie, the player who reached that score first ranks higher.
