New titans and totems

The confrontation of light and darkness begins! Four dark and four light titans, new titan artifacts, Dark Spirit Totem, and Light Spirit Totem are already available in the game. What is more, now you can bring two totems to battles!

How do light and darkness interact with each other and the old fire, water, and earth elements?

In order to not upset the balance of the fire-water-earth elemental cycle, our developers decided to introduce two new elements that are not part of this cycle. Light and dark titans can counter each other with their artifacts and abilities, but they are neutral to fire, water, and earth titans.

Tenebris, the Incarnation of Darkness

tenebris.png

Tenebris is a supertitan, so she has two skills.

  • Touch of the Abyss. Tenebris curses the nearest enemy for 6 seconds, prioritizing targets that have not been cursed. A cursed opponent receives damage every 0.5 seconds. The damage dealt depends on the Tenebris's attack. Also, while the curse is in effect, allies recover health equal to 16% of any damage dealt to the cursed target. If the target dies before the curse wears off, the curse jumps to the nearest opponent, continuing to work for the rest of its duration. Recasting the curse increases its duration.
  • Eternal Sacrifice is passive and activates automatically when an ally dies. After that, each titan in the team receives 5% of the fallen titan's base attack and health.

Keros, the Twilight Eater

mceclip0.png Keros is a marksman. His Essence Devouring skill damages one enemy for 1.5 seconds and conjures up to 3 Dark Stars, each of which boosts one Keros' basic attack.

Mort, the All-consuming Hunger

mceclip1.png Mort is a support. His Shadow Rampage skill buffs allied titans for 7 seconds. It grants them vampirism and increases their damage based on the health they lost: by 5% for each 10% of lost health.

Brustar, the Master of Shadows

brustarTransparent.png Brustar is a defender. His Wormhole skill transfers all damage taken to an enemy in the farthest row for 3.6 seconds.

Solaris, the Radiance of Creation

Titan_Light_Ultra_preview.png

Solaris is a supertitan, so she has two skills.

  • Scorching Summoning. Solaris accumulates damage taken by allies for 2 seconds. Accumulated damage cannot exceed 180% of Solaris' attack stat. Then Solaris summons blazing Light Beams that stun opponents for 1.7 seconds. Beams also deal base damage (160% of Solaris's attack stat) and 100% of the damage accumulated earlier. Solaris is immune to debuffs while skill is active.
  • Invoke Light is a passive skill. Solaris invokes the power of Light, increasing the max and current health of allies by 6.7% of their base health until the end of the battle.

Amon, the Crushing Light

mceclip0.png

Amon is a marksman. His Stellar Destruction skill launches 3 light projectiles at random enemy titans, dealing damage. Each projectile launched at the same target deals 20% less damage than the previous one. If there are any stunned enemies on the battlefield, all projectiles are launched at the nearest stunned enemy and deal extra AoE damage.

Iyari, the Beacon of Rebirth

mceclip1.png

Iyari is a support. Her Beacon of Life skill summons a healing sphere for 7 seconds. Every 0.5 seconds, it targets an allied titan with the lowest percentage of health, heals them, and boosts their attack. Each time the sphere heals the same target again, the attack bonus it grants stacks with the previous bonus. The bonus remains active for all titans healed by the sphere until it disappears from the battlefield.

Rigel, the Punishing Hand

Titan_tank_light_preview.png

Rigel is a defender. He casts a shield on himself with his skill Vengeful Barrier. The shield can absorb a certain amount of damage that depends on Rigel's attack. If destroyed or recast, the shield explodes, dealing damage and stunning nearby enemies.

How do I get new titans and evolve them?

You can get new titans during special events devoted to them and from the Circle of Summoning.

Note
Solaris and Tenebris are exceptions. You can get them only during special events.

You cannot get new titans from Titan Chests. Developers may add other ways of obtaining them in the future.

Where can I use new titans?

You can use them in any game mode where the old titans and totems are available:

It also means that you will face light and dark titans in Guild War, Tournament of the Elements, and Clash of Worlds. However, developers do not plan to add new titans as enemies in the Dungeon.

Will you add Lord of Darkness and Lord of Light to the Tournament of the Elements?

At the moment, developers do not have plans to add new Elemental Lords.

How do I level up new titans?

Like all other titans, you can level up light and dark titans by using either Titan Potions or emeralds.

How do I evolve new titans?

To evolve a titan of any element, you need to gather enough Soul Stones of that titan. At the moment, you can get Soul Stones of new titans during special events devoted to them and from the Circle of Summoning. Developers may add other means of obtaining them in the future.

Do new titans have skins?

All new titans will have Default skins.

  • Keros and Amon are marksmen, so their Default skins will grant them an attack bonus.
  • Mort and Iyari are supports, so their Default skins will grant them bonus health.
  • Brustar and Rigel are defenders, so their Default skins will grant them bonus health.
  • Tenebris’ and Solaris' Default skins grant them bonus attack.

To upgrade any titan skin, you need Titan Skin Stones or emeralds. You can get Titan Skin Stones by exchanging Bronze Guild War trophies at the Guild War Shop. Sometimes you can earn them during special events.

Dark Spirit Totem

mceclip2.png

Dark Spirit Totem grants bonus health to all dark titans. Its Black Hole skill conjures a black hole in the center of the rival team. The black hole drags in enemy titans and damages them for 5 seconds. The closer the target to the center of the black hole, the more damage they take.

Light Spirit Totem

mceclip3.png

Light Spirit Totem grants an attack bonus to all light titans. Its Supernova skill conjures a supernova. It charges for 5 seconds, during which allied titans' health cannot drop below 1. After that, the supernova explodes and damages all rival titans.

Can I really bring two totems to a battle?

Absolutely! Unlike Fire, Water, and Earth Spirit Totems, Light and Darkness Spirit Totems require only two titans of the corresponding element to activate. It means that you can bring two totems to a battle, provided that one of them is either of light or darkness.

How do I get fragments of new totems?

You can get totem fragments of any element (both new and old) at the Altar of the Elements by opening Titan Artifact Spheres or spending emeralds.

All totem fragments have the same drop rate. In addition, only the first two totem fragments you get always match the most powerful element of your titans. All subsequent fragments will be of a random element. This rule applies to fragments of all elements, including light and darkness.

The Bad Luck Protection feature also works for the light and dark totem fragments.

How do I level up new totems?

To level up Dark Spirit Totem and Light Spirit Totem, you need to use either Clash of Worlds Trophies or emeralds. Clash of Worlds is the new game mode, you can read more about it in this article.

New titan artifacts

Like fire, water, and earth titans, all light and dark titans will have three artifacts:

  • Artifact Weapon — first artifact,
  • Crown of Light/Darkness — second artifact,
  • Gleaming Artifact Seal — third artifact.

We will take a closer look at each of them below.

Dark Artifact Weapons

All Dark Artifact Weapons increase damage dealt to light titans. They are twice as effective in attack.

FCRyXPkF0X.png Nephtis's Reaper is Tenebris' Artifact Weapon.

mceclip5.jpg The Dark Star of Nephtis is Keros' Artifact Weapon.

mceclip6.jpg Nephtis's Vambraces are Mort's Artifact Weapon.

k0AdrVx8Co.png Nephtis's Destroyers is Brustar's Artifact Weapon.

Light Artifact Weapons

All Light Artifact Weapons increase damage dealt to dark titans. They are twice as effective in attack.

ZWatjkXyA2.png Belav's Greatness is Solaris' Artifact Weapon.

mceclip8.jpg Belav's Face is Iyari's Artifact Weapon.

mceclip9.jpg Belav's Crown is Amon's Artifact Weapon.

WzCq8pLHWm.png Belav's Elytra is Rigel's Artifact Weapon.

Crowns of Light and Darkness

mceclip11.jpg Crown of Darkness grants elemental armor. It protects its owner from damage dealt by light titans. In defense, it protects from attacks of dark titans as well. It provides no protection against fire, water, and earth titans. Similarly, Fire, Water, and Earth Crowns do not protect from darkness.

mceclip12.jpg Crown of Light grants elemental armor. It protects its owner from damage dealt by dark titans. In defense, it protects from attacks of light titans as well. It provides no protection against fire, water, and earth titans. Similarly, Fire, Water, and Earth Crowns do not protect from light.

Gleaming Artifact Seals

Gleaming Seals increase health and attack. Like fire, water, and earth titans, light and dark titans get Artifact Seals based on their role: supports get Gleaming Balance Seals, marksmen get Gleaming Attack Seals, and defenders get Gleaming Defense Seals.

mceclip14.jpg Keros and Amon are marksmen, so their third artifact is the Gleaming Attack Seal. Tenebris has a Gleaming Attack Seal as well.

mceclip13.jpg Mort and Iyari are supports, so their third artifact is the Gleaming Balance Seal. Solaris has a Gleaming Balance Seal as well.

3A0bA6BsMf.png Brustar and Rigel are defenders, so their third artifact is the Gleaming Defense Seal.

How do I level up new titan artifacts?

You need the same resources as for all other titan artifacts. As usual, you will receive Sparks of Power for each level up.

  • To level up an Artifact Weapon and Artifact Crown for any titan, you need Essence of the Elements or emeralds. You can earn Essence of the Elements for winning battles in the Tournament of the Elements.
  • To level up an Artifact Seal for any titan, you need gold or emeralds.

How do I evolve new titan artifacts?

To evolve an artifact for any titan, you need fragments of this artifact. You can get fragments at the Altar of the Elements by opening Titan Artifact Spheres or spending emeralds. You will receive Sparks of Power for each evolution upgrade.

You cannot purchase fragments of new titan artifacts in the Elemental Tournament Shop. Developers might add them there in the future.
