Ascension Season is a monthly event where you can try out and upgrade newly released Ascension Skills for a featured hero. Each Season lasts 25 days.
Basics
The event works similarly to other Seasons: you need to complete tasks to earn points and unlock rewards. To participate in the event, you have to meet the following requirements:
- Reach team level 65 and unlock Asgard.
- Own the featured hero.
- Be in a Guild, so you can access Ascension Spire.
Each Ascension Season introduces two new Ascension Skills for the featured hero, enhancing their second and fourth skills. During the Season, both Ascension Skills are available in all game modes, even if you have not fully upgraded Ascension ranks II and V.
Quests
An Ascension Season includes quests that require fighting in various game modes. You earn points for both victories and defeats, and using the featured hero grants additional points.
Some quests have a daily limit on the number of points you can earn. These limits reset each day, and you can see the reset timer at the top of the quests screen.
Ascension Skills
New Ascension Skills have four grades: 0, 1, 2, and 3. The higher the grade, the more powerful the skill is.
You will get temporary access to both new Ascension Skills at grade 0 for the duration of the Season.
You can enhance new Ascension Skills to higher grades by using special resources and gold. Each skill requires a different resource, which you can earn as a Season reward or obtain through special offers.

Ascension Dust and Shards can only be used during the current Season. They do not carry over between Seasons and will be converted after the Season ends at the rate:
- 500 Ascension Dust = 1 Ascension Chest;
- 250 Ascension Shards = 1 Ascension Chest.
To enchant regular Ascension Glyphs, you need regular Ascension resources (Star Mana, Crystals, and Insignias).
New Ascension Skills are temporarily available during the Season. When the Season ends, they become inactive unless you permanently unlock them using one of the methods below:
- Fully upgrade the Ascension rank branch (II or V) at which the skill is placed (enchant all Glyphs within the rank). In other words, fully upgraded rank II permanently unlocks the first skill, while fully upgraded rank V permanently unlocks the second. If you upgraded the skill during the Season, it will retain the grade you reached.
- Purchase an Ascension Ticket. It grants permanent access to both skills at their achieved grades, even if the corresponding Ascension branches have not been fully upgraded.
- Purchase one of the offers containing Ascension Dust and Ascension Shards to unlock both skills.
The system described above applies to newly released Ascension Skills during their Ascension Season. Under the current plan, additional ways to unlock and upgrade these skills will become available within several months after their Season ends.
